Words of Wisdom
“All married couples should learn the art of battle as they should learn the art of making love. Good battle is objective and honest - never vicious or cruel. Good battle is healthy and constructive, and brings to a marriage the principle of equal partnership.”
Ann Landers, (1918 - 2002)
"We met Ardyth when our marriage hit the wall and divorce knocked on the only door in that wall. Ardyth taught us how to put everything back in neutral and rediscover our love for each other. With her techniques, she eliminated our anger and put everything in to perspective. We relearned how to treat each other as partners and lovers and not as enemies. We also really liked that her sessions came to a natural stopping point and did not stop just because the time was up. We will definitely work with her again and refer her to anybody who needs to make any life changing decisions."

What is Counseling?
Wikipedia:
"Counselors attend to most normal social, cultural, and developmental issues as well as the problems associated with physical, emotional, and mental issues. Counseling is a meeting between coach and client in which creative possibilities and productive dialogue occur. Counseling encourages self-help as a resource for positive change.
What a good counselor usually does:
Listen effectively to what you are saying.
Interject when it is useful and appropriate.
Facilitate the untangling of thoughts, feelings and worries about a situation.
Offer you insight into how you act, think, feel, how you come across and into your personal patterns.
Teach, show and help you express your emotions in your own way.
Teach, show and help you work out your own solutions to problems.
Teach, show and help you accept what cannot be changed.
Teach, show, help, and support you and your relationships.
Use a variety of techniques to help you explore what is truly important to you.”
How can Ardyth help?

With 30 years of experience under my belt, I am able to help you move fairly quickly. Rather than restricting sessions to 1 hour or less we often spend 2-3 hours per session allowing us to go deeply and quickly toward resolving conflict and transforming unwanted habits and patterns.
I use a blend of approaches that I have learned and developed over the years.
These include:
Thought Field Therapy
Thought Field Therapy: also called Tapping, EFT (Emotional Freedom
Technique), RER (Relationship Energy Re-patterning), BrainGym, EMDR
(Eye-Movement, Desensitization and Re-Processing), Callahan
Techniques (TFT-CT) etc, are leading edge methods in the field of
Energy Psychology. The tapping combined with key statements sends
messages through the neuro-pathways of the brain, realigning and
resetting core thoughts and beliefs. Properly applied most achieve
either noticeable improvement or complete cessation of their
problems. It is often the missing piece to improved quality of life,
health, and relationships. TFT often works where nothing else will.
The effects are usually rapid and long lasting, gentle and non-
invasive. There are no drugs or equipment involved. TFT centers
around the profound effects of the body's subtle energies using the
theory that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the
body's energy system. TFT is easily learned by anyone and can be self
applied and used throughout ones’ lifetime.
Breath Therapies
To breath in is to inspire; to breathe out is to
expire, therefore we take in and release with our breath. Using
specific breathing exercises the very deepest emotions can be moved
up out and released.
In return, love, praise, appreciation can be let in and embodied by
breathing in deeply. The Breath is our physical connection to spirit,
to aliveness and vitality, the very essence of life. I have had years
and years of training using the breath for emotion healing and will
pass on these techniques to you.
Energy Psychology
Energy Psychology is a broad range of
psychological treatments that utilize the human energy system and
includes such modalities as Applied Kinesiology, Educational
Kinesiology, NLP, Ericksonian Hypnosis, and meridian-based therapies,
Relationship Energy Repatterning (RER). Releasing Technique, Be Set
Free Fast, Tapas Acupressure Technique, and many other such
therapies. There are also many energetic healing modalities that do
not use psychological processes – such as chi gong, acupuncture,
aromatherapy, reflexology, therapeutic touch, and so forth.
“Re-Wiring” the Inner World: From the point of view of Energy
Psychology, painful physical, emotional and spiritual symptoms are
the result of a disruption in the energy system. When the disruption
is corrected, symptoms will be replaced by healthy functioning. For
instance, a phobic response to spiders would be replaced by a calm or
neutral response to spiders. All aspects of the phobic response would
be normalized. Therefore, physical sensations of distress (such as
tense muscles, racing heart, lumps in the throat or sensations in the
pit of the stomach) are alleviated. Disturbed thought processes (such
distorted perceptions and catastrophic expectations) are normalized.
Negative emotions (fear, panic, anger, rage, helplessness, confusion,
etc.) are replaced by neutral reasonable responses. Unhelpful
behavioral tendencies - flight or fight - search and destroy, for
example is corrected. This can be achieved using the natural
resources of the body’s energetic system.
In Depth Communication Techniques and Tools
Communication is the heart of all relationships. Becoming successful in relationships
starts with intention and productive communication styles. Learning
to speak with intention will make significant differences in the
outcome of conversations. I will help you by showing you how to
become aware of your communication styles and the impacts those
styles can have. Do you send the message of a victim, as a
controller, or perhaps as stubborn or a know-it-all? Only a small
portion of our communication is sent with words, the rest is with
body language, tonality, languaging and more. I will help you
determine if you speak as a visual/auditory/kinesthetic and what that
means for you and your communication partner. Together we will
practice and utilize specific techniques that will allow you to be
heard and understood.
Written Exercises, Personalized Assignments and Recommendations
Working on ones’ self and relationships does not start and end at my office. Being able to move more rapidly is enhanced with HOMEWORK. I often give you written exercise to help you look more specifically and deeply into underlying causes and sources of personal and relationship conflict. I will ask you to bring the results of your writing to session and we apply the insights to the Energy Psychology and Breath Therapies, and to improving communications. Personalized assignments and recommendations may include reading materials, budgeting, spending, saving, time away, time together, work improvements, chores, medical consultations, and more.

Working together I will help you learn practical solutions and tools to for everyday solutions. I am highly intuitive and supportive as I guide my clients to their desired results. People often comment on how quickly I get to the heart of the matter.
